Powering Through Supply Chain Delays to Enhance the Worship Experience
Columbia Baptist Church in Falls Church, Virginia, had been planning a major facility renovation for over a decade, involving site assessments, architectural plans, and fundraising. The project included a new steeple, children’s area, entry facelift, and a 1,500-seat worship center. Construction began in early 2021, and Columbia Baptist turned to ReveLux for a video display solution for the new worship center. Integrated by Paragon360, the StoryGlass Design Cinepaper LED was chosen for its camera-friendly processing and special sizing for a 16:9 aspect ratio. Supply chain issues caused by the pandemic delayed construction, but after 18 months, the Cinepaper LED wall installation was completed. The 40’ x 12’ display, with a 3.9mm pixel pitch and a resolution of 3072 x 864, was integrated with an Analog Way Midra Pulse 4K processor. This allowed for multiple input sources and layout changes on the fly. Despite the delays, the church upgraded to the MX30 processor, providing a powerful system that enhances the worship experience and delivers the message with ease.
